In this article we consider issues of structure designing of reinforced concrete rods with cirle cross-section. There are theoretical aspects of rod torsion in the article. We analyse actual codes and standards and found out that there is no any methods of rod calculation with circle cross-section. Methods of calculation are given in the article. Field tests of rod torsion were carried out. In article you can see main points of test, the procedure of test and results.

Karst processes are one of the most dangerous natural and man-made processes. Due to the significant spread of karst in Russia, the assessment and monitoring of karst risks is an urgent problem. The solution to this problem may be the creation of a service to monitor karst processes taking place in the cities. The influence of karst processes is determined by the type of karst hazard. Karst danger of the territory is estimated on the basis of its complex studying with use of various engineering-geological methods. Given the significant costs of eliminating the consequences of karst failures, it is advisable to organize work on the prevention and monitoring of dangerous geological processes. The basis of this work will be the creation of an information system of the geological situation of the territory. This information system is implemented in three stages: 1. Establishment of regularities of karst development in the territory and determination of sequence of research by geophysical methods. 2. Collection of data on the geological situation, as well as the preparation of a program of permanent monitoring of the territory. 3. Programming and entering the data into the information system, which allows the formation of new maps and forecasts. The introduction of this information system will determine the area of potential development of the karst, thereby reducing the economic and environmental damage caused by these processes.

In the article there are results of modeling of the work of steel concrete screw and drilling piles interacting with the soil massif . For the purpose of modeling the mathematical apparatus of finite element method was used in realization of the license certified program complex Lira- soft v.10.6. The process of modeling of the subsidence is described. There is a presentation of three options of interaction of soil and piles. Draft magnitudes of single piles from external load and from negative friction forces are found.

The article is devoted to the problem of the identification of the Black Sea – Caspian region as a special segment of the World Space in the postbypolar system. The Great Limitrophe conception developed by V.L. Tsymbursky and S.V. Khatuntsev is used as «the structural frame» for understanding modern peculiarities of this region. The author outlines two aspects of its identification: geopolitical and geocivilozational. He also introduces the key concept «limitroph territory» adapting it to the specific region. The key concept involves two other concepts – «shatterbelt» and «(inter)civilizational split zone». The article contains brand new facts on the Black Sea – Caspian region problem.

The results of physico-chemical studies of micro-and macrostructure of fine-grained concrete hard pressing, used for making bread products for pavements . To improve the quality indicators ( bending moments ) in the fine-grained concrete mixtures were introduced damping additives such as ash microspheres - component slag mixtures . The essence is the replacement of the dense grain mixture with an equal volume of mineral supplements. Ash microspheres have a reduced strength and modulus . Of interest are preserved particles of hollow spheres of additive used , they are responsible for the effect of branching cracks. For experimental studies the author has developed a special method for determining the persistence of particles of ash microspheres after exposure compacting pressure. The quantitative ratio between the phases and composition of the mineral phase were determined by X-ray diffraction and optical microscopy.

Features of a site of construction of constructions of seaport of Taman are considered. The settlement scheme of influence of new construction of point of loading on an existing complex of tanks is proved. The final and element model of a coastal zone with an arrangement of underground designs of existing and port constructions under construction is constructed. Results of calculation intense the deformed condition of the soil massif and construction designs are given.
