The paper discusses the importance of reconstruction of the existing buildings and structures as energy efficient premises. It highlights that, despite the tendency to demolish residential facilities built in the second half of the twentieth century, in many cities (not only in Russia) these premises are still in demand on the real property market. Because one of the principles of making energy efficient buildings through their reconstruction is to increase the thickness of enclosing structures the paper suggests using composite foam (PENOCOM®) as a certified composite thermal insulation material. The paper sets out the main characteristics of composite foam and provides a summary description of the technology to increase wall thickness with the use of composite foam.

Regulating the flow of liquids in pipe systems is carried out by different types of control valves. In the petroleum and chemical industries the most widely regulating valves straight-through type. However, in many constructions of valves of this type the problem of cavitation is not resolved completely. With the aim of reducing the negative impact of cavitation on the valve body and pipeline the authors have proposed and developed new designs of valves uniflow type organization of the fluid flow in internal cavities which helps to reduce cavitation effects.

Obtained in the course of work the results show that the heat loss through fasteners ventilated facade is 40.5% of the total heat loss through the outer face of the facade. Using the data obtained for the evaluation of the heat losses of a 7 - storey residential building in the city of Nalchik, with a total area of external walling 2.470 sq. m. found that at a temperature difference of 39°C for 1 hour in the wall is the thermal energy in the amount of 57 kW«h, including 23.1 kW«h refer to the heat loss via the fastening elements of the facade panels, for 24 hours through heat-conducting inclusions is lost 554.4 kW«h For 7 months of the heating period with an average temperature of 28°C the heat loss will be 83745.7 kW«h Taking the cost of 1 kW«h of electricity 3.47 RUB and assess the rate of heat loss through the frame of a ventilated facade in cash for the entire heating period, will receive additional heat loss through the frame of a ventilated facade cost 290597 RUB.

In the article the problems of the technology of aerated concrete products of non-autoclaved hardening are considered and the literature data concerning the study of the influence of various factors on manufacturing technology are analyzed. The results of experimental studies devoted to the study of the role of additives of various types in the formation of aerocrete structure are presented. The influence of three factors was investigated: the type of surfactant introduced into the aerated concrete mix; presence of caustic soda additive; the consumption of aluminum powder on the process of structure formation and the properties of non-autoclaved aerated concrete. The obtained data made it possible to take a detergent powder as a surfactant in further experiments. It has been experimentally confirmed that exclusion of caustic soda from the composition of the aerated concrete mix leads to a decrease in alkalinity, and accordingly the gas release reaction proceeds much more slowly, which leads to an increase in the density of aerated concrete, the appearance of defects on the surface of products, and a significant increase in rejects. The optimal content of aluminum powder in the composition of aerated concrete is determined, which corresponds to grade PAP-1 - 5.75 g.

This article considers the influence of a structuring additive on the physical and mechanical properties of aerated concrete. As a structuring additive, a by-product was introduced into the composition of the aerated concrete mixture by cutting the top layer of the "gorbuschka" in an amount of 10 to 30%. Comparative analysis of the results of physical and mechanical tests of aerated concrete samples with different amount of structuring additive showed that its introduction increases the compressive strength, while simultaneously increasing the density of aerated concrete. At the same time, the value of the constructive quality factor in GB4 (with 20% of the "gorbuschka") is 20.4% higher than in GB2 (with 30% of the "gorbuschka") and 31% higher than for the aerated concrete base composition GB1 (control) that allowed us to take him for the optimal composition in further research.

Modelling and experimental research of filter onhalf-wave resonators with quarter-wavelength links was made. The following experimental result were received: - center frequency was 3.7 GHz; - passband width was 230 MHz; - losses in the passband were not more than 4 dB; - bkocking at tuning ± 200 MHz was not less than 40 dB. It is recommended to use the filter in a microwave receiver input circuit.

The aim of the method described in the article is to present a methodical approach to solving (in our opinion for the first time) the problems of ensuring the reliability of single-production machines. A number of principles are formulated, some of which are used from the method for serial machines, and some are new. Instead of the general set of infinite volume, a set of finite volume is used. Uniformity of the aggregate and samples from it is ensured by the equality (with an error of 5-10%) of the main parameters - the minimum resources of the details of one machine, but the details of different for the purpose. The notion of a self-stand is introduced in operational accelerated tests to confirm the estimated parts resources.The article under review contains new results, is written on an actual topic, the presented results can be implemented at machine-building plants with significant economic effect. The article deserves publication in the scientific peer-reviewed journal "The Engineer's Digest of the Don".

In the article the nascent type of linear environment objects of the city-linear park was considered. The peculiarities, specific features of this type, its structural elements, methods of formation and basic principles of construction are revealed. Also, it was revealed the need to use the synthesis of methods that ensure the complex formation of the linear park environment: the method of deep-spatial compositional connection of territories, the method of scenario-functional zoning, the method of creating a local brand and the method of eco-rehabilitation of the incoming territories. Comparison of linear parks with the closest prototype - traditional pedestrian streets is made, the structure-forming role of the landscape component in the design of linear parks is revealed. As a result of the research, the authors made conclusions concerning the study of the phenomenon of linear park, its role and place in environmental design, specificity, an important function in the city's eco-rehabilitation.

The article describes the main principles of the movement around the circumference of the cranes circular steps. It is proved that the defining characteristics of the organization of the movement of the crane on the circle are the geometric parameters of the mutual reversal of the running wheels of the crane, not the observance of the reversal determines the transverse slippage of wheels of the crane, and the shape of the wheels depends only on the elastic longitudinal slide. In article results of researches of influence of type and concentration of various electrolytes on the rheology of clay suspensions. The influence of liquid sodium glass, sodium carbonate, sodium tripolyphosphate and lignin-alkaline reagent on the fluidity of the clay slurries. It is shown that the use of a number of electrolytes at low concentrations increase the mobility of clay suspensions. Found that when using polymineral clay vladimirovskaya the greatest thinning effect was achieved with the introduction of the sodium silicate glass.

In the article the results of reinforcement of monolithic reinforced concrete slab bezbalochnyh, different parameters of a finite element mesh, under other equal characteristics. Of course cell model was created by means of PC SAPPHIRE with subsequent transfer of analytical model in LIRA-CAD when creating analytical models used three variants of triangulation, namely: rectangular, triangular and adaptive step triangulation ranged over a wide range-from 1/6 up to 1/30 span. Bearing slabs at columns was carried out on two variants : using an absolutely rigid body and without it. The subject analysis of selected area of the upper longitudinal bearing fittings. During the analysis process was investigated the influence of automatic finite element mesh triangulation on anchor square fittings. Found that in all cases an increase in triangulation step reduces the required for calculating the square top of the longitudinal reinforcement. This reduction may reach 85%, and in case of insufficient quality control finite element mesh is going to cause a serious error in the calculation. When automatically generating a mesh leaf size can significantly exceed step triangulation. All meshes with the zone of transition from AGT to the plate in the form of triangles effect is observed the increase required for calculating reinforcement as you go further away from the brink of columns, that in our view it is illogical. Practical value as the most simple way, has the option of split slabs into rectangular finite elements with a size equal to or slightly greater than the section of the column. without the use of absolute hard bodies.
