  • Recognition of a clothing brand by image using machine learning methods

The article discusses the developed model for recognizing a clothing brand by image. The model not only predicts the type and brand of clothing, but can also determine their similarity. At the initial stage, a dataset was collected containing images of clothing from various brands with a total volume of 9,000 images. In this work, the ViT (Vision Transformer) neural network architecture was used, a model for working with images, which was presented by experts from Google Brain. The vit-base-patch16-224 model acted as a representative of the transformer architecture. Before training, all images were converted to black and white, and data augmentation was also used: image rotation by a random angle, mirror transformation. All photos have been normalized – pixel coordinates have been adjusted to the interval [0,1].

  • Comparative analysis of the consumption of fuel and energy resources during the demolition of buildings by the method of mechanical collapse and element-by-element disassembly

In the context of the development of energy-efficient construction production, the issue of eliminating the irrational consumption of fuel and energy resources and regulating their consumption in the course of construction and installation work, including the demolition of an object, has been updated. The article discusses the features of the production of dismantling works in the process of renovation of residential buildings, taking into account the consumption of fuel and energy resources by the main consumers - means of mechanization. On the example of a five-story brick residential building, the total energy consumption during demolition by the method of mechanical collapse and element-by-element disassembly with the preservation of suitable materials was determined, and the relationship between these two options was established. The calculations showed that the consumption of fuel and energy resources during the element-by-element dismantling of all building structures with the preservation of suitable materials for brick heated buildings is 55.3% less compared to dismantling the building by the collapse method; in monetary terms, the energy costs for option 1 exceed the costs for option 2 by 1.55 times.

  • Feasibility study of the use of various fillers in the composition of gypsum compositions

Products made of gypsum binders have heat and sound insulation properties, fire resistance, high technical, economic and environmental indicators, which are used in construction in the construction of internal walls and partitions, the total area of which, as a rule, is several times larger than the area of external walls. By reducing the density of gypsum products due to the introduction of light aggregates, it is possible to reduce the mass of walls, lighten the building, reduce the load on foundations and reduce the cost of construction, while improving thermal protection. However, traditional lightweight fillers increase the water demand of the mixture and reduce the strength of the material. Therefore, in the article, the purpose of the study was to determine the optimal composition of gypsum compositions with various types of filler to obtain the best set of properties of the obtained samples.

  • Technical solution for local treatment of drainage runoff from irrigated lands

The technical solution for the construction of local treatment of return drainage flow from an irrigated area, based on the use of ion-exchange filter materials, is proposed. It has been established that the concentration of chemicals in the water of the drainage well is 1/3 lower than in the open collector, where the drainage flow is diverted. Therefore, the localization of the technological unit for the treatment of drainage water relative to the drainage well is a reasonable decision, since it will reduce the financial costs of filter media and the frequency of their replacement. The technological scheme of the treatment plant based on the block principle is described: by disconnecting or connecting individual blocks, it is possible to respond flexibly to changing needs in the quality and degree of drainage water treatment.

  • Application of the dynamic system oscillation indicator to identify catastrophic cutter wear

The object of the study is the method of evaluating the durability of the cutting tool, which evaluates the rationality of the periodicity of changing the cutting tool during turning on the basis of the indicator of vibration. To form a signal for the analysis the registration of vibroacoustic vibrations during the processing of parts by the device for measuring noise and vibration VShV-003-M2 takes place. To check the transfer function used in the methodology the construction of the model of dynamic system of the lathe is made. The construction of autocorrelation function and amplitude-frequency response of the dynamic system is used to estimate the durability according to the oscillation index. A series of tests to estimate tool life under recommended cutting modes are made, and the results are corrected according to the obtained results. Record of files for the analysis was made in a wave-file format. Analysis of the results made it possible to make recommendations for tool change intervals for better control of tool and labor rationing. Knowledge of the durability of cutting tools is necessary for timely replacement of cutting inserts and control of losses in production.

  • Formation of a Systematic Approach in the Organization of Instrumental Quality Control of the Hinged Facade on the Basis of the Regulatory Framework

When conducting quality control, it is necessary to consider the quality of both each individual element of the facade and the quality of the hinged facade as a system. When structuring the review of tools for instrumental quality control of curtain facade systems, their application should be considered according to controlled parameters, which can be divided into two groups. The quality control group of facade system elements combines methods and tools used in quality control of building materials and does not require the contractor to know about the principles of the hinged facade system. The quality control group of the device (assembly) of the hinged facade consists of operations to determine the quality of the operability of the hinged facade system. This group is entirely based on the idea of the work of the hinged facade as a single system. Based on the results of systematization and generalization of data, it was concluded that the current regulatory documentation regulates the use of instrumental control tools, leaving aside the issues of organization that come to the fore when quality control of the hinged facade of a construction object as a whole, when there is a task of choosing and using several tools of instrumental control at the same time. It is these questions that should be the subject of further research.
