  • Method of encoding numbers by DNA-chains and the basic operations to perform of arithmetic operations in the paradigm of DNA computing

The main models of DNA computing are self-assembly of DNA and RDNA. Disadvantages of these models are low speed perform arithmetic operations, the high probability of errors of computing, and perform the calculation with only fixed-point numbers. In article is represented method of encoding numbers by DNA strands. Numbers can be encoded by any base initially. This method does not require to translate the number into a binary number system. Each number is encoded by digit with the DNA. As compared with known methods, the proposed method uses a shorter length of DNA strands. The proposed method can increase speed encoding of numbers, improve the accuracy of the calculations and to reduce errors in the formation of the encoded data. In article is represented also the operations to perform arithmetic operations. The use of the proposed method of encoding numbers and proposed operations over DNA allows to increase speed of computation, and perform calculations not only with fixed-point numbers and floating-point numbers.

  • A new approach to provide web accessibility for the blind users based on the enhance of navigational characteristics of web pages

Most of web pages of the Web are inaccessible for the blind users. And the main reason is a lack of the semantics at the source code (technical) level of web pages and absence of the navigational components. In this work we propose a new web page representation---multiaxial navigation model---representing web documents in the form convinient for the blind users. Moreover, we present methodology for the navigation on the model proposed, that ensure an efficiency of user mobility. Automatic transformation of a web page into the multiaxial navigation model and navigation means are realized in the Blindzilla prototype. An efficiency of the proposed concepts is proven experimentally regarding contemporary screen readers, such as JAWS, Window-Eyes, and Fire Vox.

  • Cognitive approach to the research of geopolitical processes in world regions and cognitive modeling of their development (On the example of the Black – Caspian Region)

The article is devoted to the problem of the research of geopolitical processes on the world regions’ scale under present-day conditions. The article substantiates the necessity of their analysis with the help of the cognitive approach as an effective means of cognition of the interconnections and interrelationships within the complicated systems. With that aim in view the specifics and the stages of the cognitive modeling are given thorough analysis in the article. This type of modeling is adapted to the analysis of geopolitical dynamics on the regional/sub regional level taking into consideration its aptitudes to make prognostic scenarios of the development of the situation. The possibilities of the cognitive modeling of geopolitical processes are illustrated on the example of the situation in three sub regions constituting one (big) the Black Sea – Caspian region.

  • Local atomic structure dynamics of new nanostructured condensed materials for rechargeable current sources on the basis of V2O5/Fe/LiF nanocomposite within charge-discharge cycle

In this paper we study the dynamics of the local atomic structure of new nanostructured condensed material for for rechargeable current sources on the basis of 15mas.%V2O5/Fe/LiF nanocomposite within charge-discharge cycle on the basis of X-ray diffraction (XRD), X-ray absorption spectroscopy (XANES) and of computer simulation. The analysis of the experimental data obtained during the first charge cycle reveals the transformation of iron to more than 50% of iron fluoride (II) , Li ions intercalate into the structure of amorphous V2O5 forming LiVO2 compound.

  • Identification of the structural features of layered minerals by X-ray diffraction

The paper is devoted to developing an approach to solving the problem of structure identification of layered minerals of the kaolinite group by the Rietveld method. The calculations of the intensity of the diffracted X-ray radiation are performed for the koalinit samples obtained from different fields. Qualitative agreement between calculated and experimental results has managed the solution of the identification problem for the kaolinite unit cell Glukhovtsy deposit. The obtained results indicate the possibility of identifying the features of the crystal structure of layered minerals by direct calculation of diffraction patterns.

  • The integrated cognitive architectureof models of sicial systems

The article deals with the scientific principles of modern cognitive modeling offered in foreign practice to combine already existing and new models in the future in the form of cognitive architectures. Our approach is based on the concept of a unified theory of cognition, described by Alan Newell, which offers the general provisions for cognitive models used in all areas. In the computer environment, the theory is realized in the form of cognitive architectures. Shown, cognitive architecture is a system integration of static and behavioral models, which provides a solid approach to modeling knowledge of social processes, from the empirical data to quantify the simulation  of results, from level of the neural description to system level, thus the cognitive model is scaled to higher level with preservation of qualitative properties, and as a platform for integration the storage of data serves. Formally described by the level of integration corresponds to the construction of integrated information environment that combines unified storage of data with appendices of analytics.
