Abstract
Working temperature model of the distal phalanges suitable for evaluating blood pressure
Incoming article date: 23.06.2016Currently, there is a tendency to develop not cuff methods of blood pressure measurement, which reduces discomfort in the measurement and to ensure continuous monitoring of blood pressure. The proposed model allows us to estimate the temperature of the distal phalanges (DPF) and, therefore, blood pressure, both in stationary conditions and during the transients. As a result of experimental verification of the model demonstrated that the average value of the DPF temperature repeats the law of change in mean arterial pressure, and transient changes in temperature during the DPF blood pressure change and the ambient temperature are independent and subject to an exponential law.
